Wedding Guest Dresses
Happy Monday lovelies I hope you all have an amazing weekend. In hindsight I think I should have posted this beautiful wedding guest dress on Friday instead of today, as a wedding fashion inspiration. I had no idea September was such a busy wedding month. I naturally assumed that the wedding season lasted from April to August because of the warmer temperatures.
I wanted to talk a little bit about wedding guest dress styles and show you what I love to wear to weddings. My wedding style has really evolved in the past couple of years. I used to be an over dresser (a cultural thing) almost competing with the bride in my bright colors and over the top costume jewelry. My style is more toned down now. I find myself opting for simpler, more elegant dresses like the one I have on instead.
Perhaps it’s because I have a new appreciation for weddings now. They’re no longer just a big social gathering, a place to meet up with friends and socialize, to see and be seen. Now I think about the love, romance and emotions between the couple and I consider the journey ahead of them. I remember all the happy memories of my own wedding.
