All About This Light Blue Coat

I used to be that girl that got depressed in the winter; the low temperatures, snow and short days really used to leave me feeling listless and longing for summer. I wore a lot of dark colors grays, blacks and browns to match my mood. Thank God that is no longer the case. Today I’m just as happy in the winter as I am any other time of the year, and it’s reflected in my wardrobe choices. I mean check out this light blue coat.

It’s Christmas time and it’s finally gotten cold in Washington DC; it’s the perfect time to break out this gorgeous light blue coat. The color and fit couldn’t be any more perfect. It’s a real mood booster; there’s something about wearing a vibrant color that gives me energy and puts me in a really good mood.

As awesome as I was feeling, I was in for a pleasant surprise; I came across a Christmas tree dressed just like me! So you know I definitely had to take some pictures. Seeing that magnificent tree dressed in beautiful blue colors really put a smile on my face and reminded me to take some time to enjoy the Christmas season.
