What’s in a Faux Shearling Coat

My faux shearling coat is what I put on when I want to make a bold statement; and I’m in the mood to get noticed, because this coat just screams notice me. Warning, this coat is not for the demure or shy personality type; no, because when you wear a faux shearling coat like this, you will surely draw attention to yourself. There’s just something about this faux shearling coat, that makes me feel alive every time I wear it. I love this coat not only for its cool factor but also because it keeps me incredibly warm too.

Every year as fall comes around l scramble to find interesting new statement pieces to breathe new life into my wardrobe. I search for the perfect everything; the perfect pair of boots or booties; the perfect new jeans or pants, but the most fun of all; I shop for the perfect sweaters, jackets and coats. I’m obsessed with statement coats, so when I saw this one I felt like I had found my Holy Grail faux shearling coat! It satisfies every need I have for a faux shearling coat.

How to Style a Faux Shearling Coat

Now because this coat is bulky I only wear it with form-fitting clothes like bodycon dresses and catsuits, bodysuits or onesies whichever one you call it. Also, I stick to neutral colors like cream, tan and beige for a classier more pulled together look. I don’t like to do contrasting colors like black with this coat because it takes away from the bold yet sophisticated way I like to look.
